Product description
ALUCOBOND® is a composite panel consisting of two aluminium cover sheets and a fire-retardant or non-combustible mineral-filled core that stands for sustainable construction quality and the highest creative standards. The façade material is distinguished by its outstanding product attributes such as precise flatness, variety of surfaces and colours as well as excellent formability. The composite structure of ALUCOBOND® consists of corrosion-resistant aluminium cover sheets. Aluminium is an excellent lightweight construction material that requires high primary energy in its initial production, but is suitable for very long service lives in the industrial, transport and construction sectors due to its optimum recycling properties (100% infinitely recyclable). The ALUCOBOND® core material consists mainly of mineral components that consume little primary energy and are nevertheless 100% recyclable and can be returned to the material cycle. ALUCOBOND® is used in rear-ventilated façade systems with a high insulating effect, which reduce the heat input in summer and increase a building's protection against the cold in winter. Cladding on both sides with 0.5 mm thick aluminium sheets Alloy EN AW - 5005A (ALMg1) in accordance with DIN EN 573-3 Condition H22 I H42 in accordance with DIN EN 515 Tensile strength of the cover sheets: Rm ≥ 130 N/mm² according to DIN EN 485-2; yield strength 0.2% Rp0.2 ≥ 90 N/mm² according to DIN EN 485-2 Elongation at break A50 ≥ 5% according to DIN EN 485-2 Core material mineral (building material class B, s1, d0 and A2, s1, d0) according to general building authority approval Z-10.3-774 Surfaces: visible side stove-enamelled using the coil coating process in accordance with ECCA (European Coil Coating Association) guidelines Gloss level: matt I silk gloss I high gloss (depending on surface) Visible side laminated with protective film; reverse side mill-finished Coating qualit: high-quality polymer coating systemsInstructions for use
